FAQs

As well as local journeys including supermarkets, doctors, dentists, cafes, restaurants, church, library etc, you can also use Dial a Ride to go further afield including Bridlington, Malton, York and Hull – give us a call to discuss your needs and we’ll see if we can help.

Registration is a one-off charge of £10 per person. Please call 01723 354434 for more information.

Unfortunately not. We accept cash or cheque, or can arrange for advance payment by BACS. For passengers travelling at least once each week, we can arrange a credit account, with monthly invoicing.

The more notice you can give us, the more likely you are to get the journey times you want. Our schedules fill quickly, so it is unlikely that space will be available in the next day or two (unlikely, but not impossible).

Sometimes you will, but we wouldn’t be able to help so many people if we picked them up and dropped them off one at a time. Also, community transport is a great way of meeting other people on your journey, and we know of many friendships which have been forged during trips on our minibuses.

We always try to be on time, but often encounter delays caused by traffic and other passengers. Please allow us a 10-minute ‘window’ either side of the time we agree.

Within reason, yes. Please let us know at the time of booking your journey if you expect to bring more than three bags on board.

No problem – just tell us at the time of booking. If you are bringing a carer, or someone who lives at the same address as you, they will pay just the single fare for their journey (local minibus journeys only – there is no charge for additional passengers in the longer distance journeys completed by car).

Possibly. Give us a call to discuss.
