​HolyfieldSadly, on Friday 15th December we had to take the decision tolet Holyfield join the Heavenly cattery in the sky.  He was nearly 21 human years old and chose to stay with us for the last 16 years or so.  He will be sadly missed by everyone here! December 2017

 

 

​New minibus liveried up! ​September 2017

 

​New minibus arrives!Minibus Options of Whaley Bridge supplied, once again, our latest minibus.  Similar to our other Renault Masters this vehicle has 12 passenger seats and is fully accessible for those using wheelchairs or with mobility problems.    Livery  will  be finishing touch before its put into service. ​September 2017

 

 

​Information desk day at Morrison's EastfieldAmanda took to the foyer of Morrison's Eastfield to be on hand for information about the service and volunteering. ​September 2017

​Success at Scarborough's Open Air Theatre for the 80s Vs 90s nightWe were shaking the buckets at SOAT on 5 August  and we raised £149.71 for Dial A Ride.  Thanks to Tim, Amanda, Mick and Les (he took the photo!).    A big thank you to Scarborough Borough Council and everyone at the Open Air Theatre but a massive thank you to everyone that put money in our buckets! And it didn’t rain either! ​August 2017

 

 

​10 years volunteering!  Congratulations to AlanAlan Jenkins of Scarborough has been presented with a special cut glass Dial A Ride paper weight and certificate for his invaluable service over the past 10 years.  Thank you very much for all your help Alan ​July 2017

 

 

​123Tesco support new minibus with £1000 donation The manager of Tesco's Scarborough, Paul Best, presented Dial A Ride's Julie Banks with a cheque for £1000.  Tesco's donation will be used towards our next new minibus due in September.     THANK YOU TESCO!THANK YOU TESCO Julie, Tim and Tesco's staff give the thumbs up!There £1000 donation is to be used towards the newly ordered minibus which will should arrive with us in September 2017.Paul Best and Julie Banks on board Dial A Ride 8 Tesco's manager, Paul, is shown around our Renault Master Minibus, Dial A Ride 8, by Julie.  The new bus will be similar to this one and will be supplied by Minibus Options
